I have my new pc now with Windows Vista. I only get the Buisness Version from the university and this version has no games and what is a Windows without Solitair? It also has no Windows Media Center and Hauppauge has no stable tv viewer application. But there is just crap in the tv, so who cares.

Microsofts new killer feature: Flip3D is shit. It is a nice gimmick but it is not the high uable work speed-improvement that MacOSX Exposé offers. At first I cannot so all windows at the same time and I have no drag’n'drap into a window. Those are the best features in Exposé, so Flip3D stays a cheap copy :)

But DirectX10 is rockshow. I play around with my new Geforce8 and I can do amazing things. NVIDIAs Cascades Demo is really impressive.

To summarize my impression of Vista I can say it is better than XP but it is still not MacOSX even if Microsoft tried to steal a lot of stuff. I will still do my daily work with my Powerbook but for coding I will use my Visual Studio.

I was sick a long time, but now I’m back.

ArtLebedev Mac Driver is getting better every week. So I’m unsure if it will be helpful to continue developing. I will decide about that in the next days.
